Just doing a quick intro, I’ve tried mastodon a handful of other times.

Hopefully this is the time where it sticks. I became active on Twitter again trying to get more involved with housing and transit work locally, so I’m glad this instance exists.

We’ll see what I post, but it’ll prob be more about learning and bouncing ideas off folks for organizing on this stuff and working out the details.

Thinking of migrating to a new server, anyone have a recommend?

Looking for a server w/ about 300-1000 active users, friendly to LGBTQ folks, more of a general server vs something really specific.

It's a bonus if folks talk about media, games, making things, some silliness, some politics. I think I'm looking for something well managed, updated, and just a fun place to post, that is somewhat active as well.

US Politics, working ahead for a positive future

Listening to a few sources with people who have good things to say about what we need to be doing now to organize for a better future and against the fascist tide that is coming in.

Sharing for folks who might need it:

I’m always grateful that queer people celebrate each other.

It is so important. I know several friends who me just saying “I am so happy for you" at some events means a lot, since I know their family doesn't show the same support.
